New Jersey Modifies Required Workplace Notice

The New Jersey Division on Civil Rights (NJDCR) recently amended the “Discrimination in Employment” notice to add pregnancy as a protected category.  (See article previously reported on this site, “Roundup of Recent New Notice Requirements for New Jersey Employers,” concerning other notices employers are required to post in the workplace.) The new notice also omits the addresses of the Jersey City and Patterson NJDCR offices, which have closed.

These posters must be displayed in locations easily visible to all employees and applicants for employment, all prospective tenants and purchasers, and all persons seeking or using a public accommodation.

Please do not hesitate to contact any of our attorneys if you have any questions regarding these requirements.
