Experience
Lisa Dayan has practiced exclusively in the field of labor and employment law since 1991. Her practice currently includes litigating employment cases before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, counseling human resource professionals on labor and employment law issues and conducting seminars. Lisa is admitted in the state and federal courts of New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C.
Lisa joined KM&M as an Associate in May 2002, and became Senior Counsel in January 2005. She earned her law degree in 1991 from New York University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and was an Associate Editor of the New York University Law Review.
Lisa began her legal career as an associate in the labor and employment law group at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. She has also practiced labor and employment law at Seyfarth, Shaw, Fairweather & Geraldson in Washington, D.C. and New York, and at Roberts & Finger, where she represented employers in New York and New Jersey.
Lisa earned a B.S. from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations in 1988, where she was the recipient of the Irving M. Ives Senior Award and the Felix and Sophie L. Seidenberg Award for outstanding work in Labor Relations.
