Experience
For over 10 years, Lyle Zuckerman has devoted his practice to representing management in all disciplines of labor and employment law.
His expertise includes both traditional labor law - including grievance arbitration, proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, secondary boycotts and other work stoppages, union organizing campaigns and contract negotiations - and the full spectrum of employment law matters. Lyle regularly counsels and represents securities firms and other financial services organizations, and has tried numerous arbitrations before the New York Stock Exchange and NASD Dispute Resolution, Inc. He also works with employers in the entertainment, education, maritime, and service industries, and has counseled clients on the most sensitive and complicated areas in his field, including those involving restrictive covenants, employee raiding, reductions-in-force, and the discipline/termination of employees. Lyle litigates all employment-related claims in federal and state trial and appellate courts and before administrative tribunals.
From 1996-1998, Lyle was an associate in the Labor & Employment Department of Proskauer, Rose LLP. Lyle was an associate at KM&M from 1998-2002, and rejoined the firm in 2004 after serving as Associate General Counsel for St. John's University, where he was assigned primary responsibility for all labor, employment and civil rights matters. He became a partner in the firm in 2006.
Lyle graduated from Lafayette College in 1993 with a degree in Anthropology & Sociology, and from Fordham University School of Law in 1996, where he was a member of the Urban Law Journal and Moot Court Team.
