Experience
Rossana Eltanal joined KM&M in May 2007. Rossana has defended wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-hour, breach of contract, and other employment-related claims. In addition to her litigation practice, Rossana advises and counsels employers on a wide range of employment law issues, including terminations, corrective action, personnel policies and procedures, leave laws, and wage and hour matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Rossana was an associate in the Employment and Labor group at Severson & Werson where she gained significant experience litigating various employment claims. She has trained managers on a wide range of employment matters, has counseled employers on employment practices, and has drafted personnel policies designed to assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Rossana earned her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She also completed an externship with the Honorable Maxine M. Chesney (U.S. District Court, Northern District of California). In addition, Rossana attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English (with honors).
Rossana is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California.
