Christina L. McEnerney
Christina McEnerney specializes in employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour issues. She advises employers regarding performance and disciplinary issues, leaves of absence, employment agreements, pay equity, wage and hour compliance and disability accommodations.
Christina joined KM&M from The Walt Disney Company, where she was Assistant General Counsel in the litigation department. Christina began at Disney in 2006, and during her tenure there, handled employment and entertainment matters across Disney’s diverse operations, including its theme parks, television and film studios, digital services, corporate departments, and retail operations. Christina advised Human Resources and internal clients regarding employment policies and practices and supervised individual plaintiff and class action lawsuits involving a broad range of employment and general litigation issues.
Christina’s experience at Disney extended to include enterprise-wide handling of issues regarding public accommodations for individuals with disabilities (e.g., website accessibility compliance, services for theme parks guests with visual impairments, and access to rides and attractions for guests with cognitive and mobility disabilities), domestic and international sexual harassment and assault cases, and litigation involving copyright/trademark, personal injury, and contract claims. Christina also spearheaded a process improvement initiative across Disney’s legal department to enable more efficient and cost-effective handling of matters.
Prior to joining Disney, Christina was an Of Counsel at Paul Hastings in the employment law department, where she began after receiving her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Christina obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Macalester College and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Christina is a former president of the Irish American Bar Association – Los Angeles.
