Overview
Jacqueline Tekyi has extensive experience as a labor and employment attorney and employee relations specialist.
Jacqueline’s current practice focuses on representing employers in the entertainment industry in all facets of labor relations, including collective bargaining, contract interpretation and application, arbitrations, and day-to-day labor and employee relations advice.
Prior to joining KM&M, Jacqueline was a senior employee relations specialist for Google LLC. In that role, she managed several sensitive employee relations matters, conducted thorough investigations, provided advice and support on local and internal disciplinary processes and policies, and reviewed and advised on complex performance management situations.
Jacqueline also served as a trial attorney for the National Labor Relations Board in the New York Regional office. There she investigated, prosecuted, and negotiated settlement of unfair labor practices, processed representation petitions, oversaw union elections, acted as a hearing officer in contested representation matters, and represented the NLRB in an injunction matter in federal court.
Before joining the NLRB, Jacqueline was an associate at the law firm Levy Ratner P.C. where she litigated labor and employment claims in both federal and state court and handled matters before various state and federal agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the New York State Division of Human Rights.
Jacqueline received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her B.A. from York University.
