Overview
Kathryn Cronin joined Kauff McGuire & Margolis in August 2021. Kathryn represents management in all aspects of labor and employment law. She provides strategic advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment and workplace management issues. Kathryn represents employers in proceedings in court and before administrative agencies to defend them against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She also negotiates collective bargaining agreements, counsels employers on union organizing and day-to-day contract administration issues.
Prior to joining KM&M, Kathryn was an associate at Clifton Budd & DeMaria, LLP, where she focused on labor relations in the real estate industry. In that position, she handled all facets of labor and employment issues, including unfair labor practices, union elections, wage and hour violations, and discrimination claims. Kathryn was named to the New York Metro Rising Star of Super Lawyer’s List in 2021.
Kathryn attended the University at Albany, where she was a member of the women’s basketball championship team and received an undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in Criminal Justice. In 2016, she graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law. During law school, Kathryn served as the Research Editor for the St. John’s Law Review and Catholic Legal Studies and was awarded the American Bar Association/Bureau of National Affairs Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law.
