The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced on Friday that it would significantly raise the filing fee for expedited processing of eligible applications beginning on Monday, October 19, 2020. The premium processing fee will increase from $1,440 to $2,500. Any premium processing request postmarked on or after Monday, October 19 that does not contain the new fee will be rejected and the application will be returned. Although the fee increase will likely be subject to legal challenge it remains in effect until further notice. We will continue to provide updates as further information becomes available.
