Overview

Gayle Oshrin joined KM&M in November 2017 as part of the firm’s new Immigration Practice Group.  She is highly experienced in U.S. immigration and nationality law.

Gayle's expertise is in Business and Family Immigration, focusing on employment-based visas and corporate immigration. She represents companies of all sizes from start-ups to established multinationals in a variety of industries on immigration matters. Gayle has extensive experience advising a wide range of individuals, including entertainers and artists, entrepreneurs, high-net worth clients, fashion designers, technology professionals, and has particular expertise with extraordinary ability and family-based petitions as well as US citizenship issues. 

Prior to joining KM&M, Gayle worked with the immigration team at Wormser, Kiely, Galef and Jacobs LLP. In addition, she was formerly a Senior Diplomatic Legal Advisor for the NYC Commission for the UN, Consular Corps and Protocol.

Gayle has long been active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) on both national and chapter levels. She is one of 21 Directors elected to serve on the 14,000-member AILA Board of Governors. She has formerly served in numerous leadership positions in AILA including as Chair of the 2010 and 2014 AILA National Annual Conferences, Chair of AILA’s New York Chapter, Chair of AILA’s New Member Division, member of the AILA National Liaison Committee with the US Department of Labor, and Member of the AILA NY Chapter US Customs and Border Protection Liaison Committee. 

Gayle regularly speaks and publishes on matters relating to immigration law.  She has been selected annually for inclusion in the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers and The New York Times Super Lawyers. She was the recipient of AILA's 2007 Joseph Minsky Young Lawyer Award for outstanding contributions in the field of immigration and nationality law. Gayle was also the recipient in 2010, 2014 and 2015 of the AILA President’s Commendation Award for Outstanding Service to the AILA President and to AILA.

Gaye has an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from New York University, a J.D. from  Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and an A.B. from Colgate University.
