Overview

Jorge represents foreign nationals and multinational employers in a wide range of U.S. immigration matters, including employment- and family-based visa sponsorship, compliance, and strategic workforce planning. His practice spans representation of startups through Fortune 500 companies, as well as individuals seeking permanent residence and citizenship.

He regularly advises clients on family-based petitions, including adjustment of status and naturalization, and across the full spectrum of employment-based nonimmigrant visa categories, including H-1B, L-1, TN, E, and O classifications. He also has significant experience with self-petitions for individuals of extraordinary ability and achievement.

Jorge joined the Firm with over 15 years of experience at both global and boutique immigration firms, where he developed deep expertise in complex, high-stakes immigration matters. He earned his Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. During law school, he was a Fellow with the Center on Latinx Rights and Equality (CLORE) and the Sorensen Center for Peace and Justice. Jorge received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale University.

Jorge remains actively engaged in pro bono and community service work, including volunteering for CUNY Citizenship Now! workshops and assisting with other pro bono immigration matters. He is fluent in Spanish and is admitted to practice in New York.
