Overview

Marcia N. Needleman joined the Immigration Practice Group of KM &M in May 2026 as a Member.  Previously, Marcia held the position of Partner and Managing Attorney at Levitt & Needleman, P.C. (formerly Law Offices of Sandra G. Levitt, P.C.), where she practiced exclusively in the field of U.S. immigration law for over 40 years. Marcia‘s practice has focused on business immigration as well as family-based immigration and citizenship issues.

Marcia provides advice and a full range of immigration legal services to a diverse and interesting client base spanning a wide spectrum of entities of all sizes in all stages of development. Marcia’s practice includes a broad range of the alphabet of U.S. work visas including, although not limited to, B, E, F, H, L, O, P and R. Likewise, she handles cases for green cards (lawful permanent resident status) based on PERM applications as well as applications for multinational executives and managers, professionals, researchers, persons of extraordinary ability, investors, religious workers and the like. She represents companies and individuals in fields as diverse as law, engineering, technology, finance, education, manufacturing, architecture, jewelry, design, athletics, the arts, nonprofit organizations, and many others. The diversity of Marcia’s practice has always been her strength and her passion as she leads clients successfully through the labyrinth of the complex U.S. immigration laws. Marcia has also represented countless individuals in family immigration matters, enabling families to reunite and remain together in the U.S. with security and stability. She shepherds clients from initial consultation to strategy creation to execution, from student visas to work visas, followed by green cards and ultimately citizenship. She has forged deep and lasting relationships with many clients over the years, including companies, as they grow from early stage to mature entities, as well as multi-generations of families; relationships that have provided her with deep professional and personal satisfaction throughout her career.

Marcia is a life-long New Yorker, including obtaining her law degree from Brooklyn Law School and admission to the NY Bar as well as the Eastern and Southern District Courts of New York. She has long been an active member of the premier immigration bar association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), where she has held various positions, including NY Chapter Chair, member of the AILA Board of Governors, member and chair of various committees, and Trustee to the American Immigration Council. She has also been involved in legislative advocacy work to members of Congress representing the interests of the immigrant community. 

Marcia has lectured nationally and internationally on various topics pertaining to U.S. Immigration law and is regularly listed in the publications “The Best Lawyers in America” and “Super Lawyers,” among others.
