Over his 25 years devoted to this practice area, Bill has acquired unrivaled knowledge of and experience in this highly specialized field—where business, law, and creativity converge. So equipped, he is adept at efficiently solving problems and otherwise finding solutions for the firm’s hundreds of entertainment and media clients, which now include some of the top tech companies in the world. From collective bargaining to advice and counsel, to dispute resolution, Bill’s practice covers the full range of entertainment and media labor relations matters.

Prior to his focus on labor relations, Bill trained as a litigator and employment lawyer, and he has substantial experience representing clients in contract actions, discrimination suits, WARN Act and ERISA actions, and the enforcement of employment agreements, including restrictive covenants. As such, Bill advises a variety of clients on all types of employment law issues, including compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination laws and wage and hour laws, reductions in force, restrictive covenants, benefits policies, and disciplinary procedures.

Bill was recently named by Best Lawyers of America as its “Lawyer of the Year” (2022) for Labor Law – Management, New York City.
