US To Lift Travel Bans On November 8th

The Biden administration announced this morning that the country-specific travel bans that have been in place since 2020 will be lifted on November 8, 2021. International air travelers from previously designated countries will now be allowed to enter the US – provided they are fully vaccinated and present a negative Covid test taken within 72 hours of their flight. All vaccines that have been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or have an Emergency Use listing from the World Health Organization (WHO) will qualify, including the AstraZeneca, Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines.
