USCIS Announces Second H-1B Lottery for FY 2025

Yesterday, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that they will run a second H-1B lottery as they did not reach the annual numerical quota during the first round of selections. No further information has been released about when the second lottery will take place or how many registrants will be selected, but USCIS did confirm that everyone who was initially registered but was not selected in the first lottery in March will automatically be entered into the second round. The second lottery selection is only available to applicants who entered in March; no new registrations will be accepted at this time.
