USCIS Will Accept Scans of Original Signatures During National Emergency
On Friday, March 20, 2020, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it will accept reproductions of original signatures on all immigration forms and documents for the duration of the COVID-19 National Emergency. The policy will apply to all applications filed on or after March 21, 2020. Nevertheless, applicants must retain copies of documents with the original “wet” signature and should be prepared to produce them if required by USCIS.
